Sleeps 16 | Self Catering | Dog Friendly

Unwind

Exemplifying Scottish sporting lodge tradition, this impeccable accommodation comfortably sleeps sixteen without feeling too large or too small. Optional connecting bedrooms suit families with children while the traditional dining and drawing rooms retain a simple sense of grandeur for your special occasions.

Explore

Set within 7000 acres of heather moorland and designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest, the Lagafater Estate is the perfect place for adults, children and dogs to explore. From wild-swimming or fishing in the rivers and pools to hiking across the stunning moorland to its abundance of wildlife, including hen harriers, deer, peregrines, red grouse, snipe, curlew, foxes and hare, Lagafater is the perfect place to retreat back into the restful peace, quiet and slow calm of nature.

Switch Off

Escape the digital world and immerse yourself in the absolute radio silence of Lagafater. Fast wifi access is available inside the lodge, but upon request this can be disabled, offering the chance for families and friends to reconnect with each other and with nature without distraction from the outside world.

Listen to Lagafater…

This audio was recorded just outside the lodge in summer 2023. You will hear the bubbling stream, wind rustling the trees and the beautiful cacophony of birdsong (including one of our resident cuckoos).

So, pop on some headphones and take a listen to the peace and quiet at Lagafater Lodge.

An idyllic corner of Scotland…

…that’s all yours to explore…
