From wild-swimming or fishing in the rivers and pools to hiking across the stunning moorland to its abundance of wildlife, including hen harriers, deer, peregrines, red grouse, snipe, curlew, foxes and hare, Lagafater is the perfect place to retreat back into the restful peace, quiet and slow calm of nature.

Escape the digital world and immerse yourself in the absolute radio silence of Lagafater. Fast wifi access is available inside the lodge, but upon request this can be disabled, offering the chance for families and friends to reconnect with each other and with nature without distraction from the outside world.

Are Dogs Allowed?
Yes! We allow dogs, as long as they are well behaved, don’t go upstairs or don’t go on the furniture. We also ask that they be kept on leads when walking on the moors around the sheep.

Can I Cancel or Modify my Booking?
Yes! We understand that your plans may change, so we will happily offer you a 100% refund up to 30 days before your check-in date. After this date, if we can’t re-let the lodge, then we can only offer a 25% refund. Bookings made via other websites may not be as flexible, so make sure to double check.
Is it cheaper to book directly?

Is there Food Delivery to the Lodge?
Yes. ASDA and Morrisons both do a food delivery service right to the door, so please feel free to arrange a delivery for your check-in date and there will be someone there to collect it for you.
